America's rivers, lakes, bays, harbors, estuaries and wetlands are essential to our health, our quality of life and our natural heritage. Under the Clean Water Act, we've made progress in protecting and preserving our waters. Yet new threats, including reckless development and highly-toxic chemicals, call for renewed vigilance and action. Environment Arizona opposes any efforts by powerful developers and other polluters to weaken the Clean Water Act. We support efforts at the local, state and federal level to ensure clean and safe water supplies for all Americans.
