Air-pollution settlements in Maricopa County totaled more than $256,000 in Sept.

| Dust control remained the most common air-quality violation in Maricopa County in September, with 26 settlements ranging from $620 to $11,906. In all, there were 64 air-pollution settlements that month. Dust-control and permit-related violations accounted for 69 percent of the $256,236.35 in fines paid. | |
