Through our activism and advocacy, Arizona is now set to get at least 15% of its energy from clean and renewable sources by 2025. This will ensure that more homes and businesses can tap into the energy of the sun and the power of the wind. Arizonans will also save money with energy efficiency measures included in this law.

Arizona ranked third in the nation for solar jobs

We released data showing that Arizona had the third most solar-related jobs in the country in 2011, with an estimated 4,786 people employed by 980 separate companies. As part of our ongoing effort to bring even more solar power to Arizona, we helped shine a media spotlight on the fact that the solar industry is growing 10 times faster than other sectors of the economy.
